Opa Designs – Temple of The Goddess

Temple of The Goddess – Autumn Winter 2013

Opa Designs has just released its new collection – “Temple of The Goddess.” The inspiration behind this ethereal dream is the myths and lives of the Goddesses of the ancient world.  Dimmy Mormanis the designer and creator of Opa Designs brings each and every collection back to her Greek heritage.

The new campaign features model Georgina – a perfect fit for the brand with her Greek heritage, who had flown in from Thessaloniki. She naturally channels the Modern Greek goddess. Georgina in her versatility creates a sexy mysterious look juxtaposed with her sweet innocence. It was shot at the picturesque St Mary Immaculate Church in Waverly, providing the perfect backdrop of luscious green gardens and big stone features, a window into the old world.

The new collection features exotic chains, bling with studs, metallic tones of  gold and silver, black silver and bronze. Mixed back with the metals are hints of blue red and green, highlighting the trends for 2013. Temple of Goddess features necklaces named after Greek goddesses. Aphrodite, the Goddess of love beauty and desire. Artemis, the virgin Goddess of the hunt, wilderness, young girls, childbirth and plague. Athena, the Goddess of intelligence and skill, warfare, battle strategy, handicrafts and wisdom. These strong women are inspiration for the wearer of Opa designs.

Dimmy has designed her collection so that every girl can feel like a goddess whenever she wears a piece.

Samples are available from the Raw Fashion Agency showroom.
