Starting the day right at Karma Kandara, Bali, my friends and I had a breakfast date at Di Mare. Following this – some nourishing Karma Spa treatments. Coming from a busy Sydney lifestyle this was exactly the day that I needed!
As you can see the breakfast at Di Mare is divine. Opting to experience breakfast both in the restaurant and another time in the villa, they were just as nice as the other. However in the restaurant you get that amazing clifftop view so that does come in front. Coffee is the way to my heart (other than shoes) and they really did coffee well. I also had the fluffiest egg white omelete that I have ever had in my life!
I head to Karma Spas which is down a magical garden path and to a clifftop spa. Certainly the best location I have been to for a massage! The private spa and massage rooms were so beautiful they took my breath away! I sat down to some ginger tea and peaceful music and looked through the many treatments to choose from. I went for the INTUITIVE BALINESE MASSAGE. I could not go past the description:
Deeply nourishing. Slow-moving strokes. Handpressed oil curated by a Hindu Ayurvedic Doctor from a remote village in Bali. Based on the traditional Balinese philosophy where two massages are never the same, Karma bodyworker’s deliver their own mixed bundle
of techniques to bring your body and mind to balance.
My massuese quickly worked out the areas in my right shoulder and my lower back which needed the attention, as I have some stubborn knots – but she really did relieve some of the pain I had been expereiencing. I was in the zone. I didnt want to leave! But felt so good afterwards.
