The Diamond Party
Diamond Dan hosted an elaborate and upmarket launch to promote Dan Mor Diamonds. The Diamond Party was held at Hugos Lounge on Saturday 2nd November
Sydney socialites experienced an exclusive fashion experience as soon as they arrived at the event – walking through an installation on the black carpet, with models wearing diamonds and pieces from Babylikestopony, Darlinghurst. Make up was by Martin Bray and hair by Intershape Stylists, Bondi Junction.
The theme was DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER, inspired by the 50th anniversary of James Bond. Alcohol sponsor Ultimat Vodka treated the well dressed crowd. For ‘The Bonds’ it is shaken, strong, not stirred – the Ultimat Mule; and for the Bond-Girls, a sophisticated Passionfruit Martini.
“PURE”- the photographic exhibition was displayed throughout the venue. An abstract depiction of a diamond formation: From deep in the earth’s crust under immense temperatures and pressure, the world’s most beautiful gem is created. This visual delight featured Kuei, Sudanese-born international top model from VIVIENS. The exhibition especially showed off the talents of famous make up artist Martin Bray (X Factor) and photographer Ben Scott.
As only one could expect from Dan Mor event, it was a theatrical experience everywhere you turned, the party filled with models, dancers, energetic DJs, Sax player and vocalist. DJ Sudeep, DJ. Didier Liquidsun (Marseille, France) and Eddie Coulter played during the night. Nikki Bennett sang Diamonds Are Forever and Diamonds (Rihanna) which added sparkle to the night with saxophone genius Evan Powis.
The glitterati was in full force with a special appearance by artist Dallas Dellaforce.
The generous sponsors Ultimat Vodka, Bang & Olufsen, MPM Entertainment, Ruby Radar, Simone Perelle and Cactus Skincare were fantastic spoiling the guests with gifts.
An incredible production by Dan Mor and Lea Yanai, much credit to the beauty and detail.
Thank you to everyone who came to the event!
This was truly a night to remember……
